The space

Escape to the Kentish countryside at Lavender Cottage. A stylish and homely three-bedroom retreat, perfect for families or small groups of up to six. Every bedroom has its own en-suite, and the open-plan living space blends comfort with practicality, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings.

Step out onto your south-facing balcony to enjoy views over the gardens, or wander through 2.5 acres of private grounds shared between the two cottages. You’ll find a full-size tennis court, children’s play area with giant LEGO-style blocks to let your imagination run wild, plus plenty of other toys to keep younger guests entertained.

We want our cottages to be more than just a place to sleep, so we’ve installed a cinema-style popcorn machine and vintage candyfloss machine for you to enjoy. There’s no need to bring anything - popcorn kernels and oil packs, along with a selection of candyfloss flavours, will be waiting for you so you can get started straight away.

Located near the historic village of Yalding, Lavender Cottage offers the best of both worlds. A tranquil countryside setting with charming pubs, riverside trails, and local shops within walking distance, and just 45 minutes by train to Central London.
